Author Michael Konik wrote the book "The Smart Money." It's a memoir of his time when he served as a bag man for 'Big Daddy' considered the world's best sports bettor. Konik claimed he needed to protect his sources, however, it was quickly revealed that 'Big Daddy' and Rick Matthews were in fact Billy Walters and Konik's time in the inner circle would often play the role of the square making large bets for the titled, "Brain Trust."
